Our Little Time Lord

24 Jan

Thank you, everyone, who has come by to look at Mateo in his TARDIS! Thanks to io9 for sending folks this way. He’s still having a ball with it. I’m not sure if I should be concerned about how much time he likes to spend in there.

Brian is going to be drawing up the plans soon so we can share them with everyone who wants to build their own corrugated TARDIS.

Oh that is awesome- our 15month old (24th Oct) needs one- my husband spent all weekend trying to determine where he can buy corrugated cardboard… though eventually he wants to make one out of plywood!

    Fantastic!

I post stories about Daleks and the Tardis that people make at home, and I’d love to do post this Tardis on my blog.

    I wish I had a Tardis when I was a kid! 🙂

Clearly, he’s off saving the universe when he’s in there, so best to leave him be. Haul him out, and you endanger all of reality! 😉

    Hi Jennifer –

What a great gift. Of course, you know Mateo is perfectly fine inside the Tardis. Not only are hours of earth time only moments for him inside the Tardis, it is – you know – bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.

Seriously, how wonderful. I think a toy that re-enforces the notion that anything is possible is great. And how much greater when your own dad makes it! Next year does he get k9 or the sonic screwdriver?

I am a 20 year old, and jealous of Mateo’s Tardis.

Your son is very lucky that his Daddy is a DW fan!!
